Haven’t done stone lifting in forever so it was fun to get out today and check off the first of the #utahstonesofstrength This bad boy clocks in at 280lbs but it is awkwardly shaped and was wet so the pick was tough. Does your protein make you bloated? That is my biggest complaint about protein powders! I will admit, I prefer my protien from natural food sources, for example, steak, chicken, eggs, lentils, greek yogurt, etc. However, when I do need a quick source of good protein I try to find products that won’t cause painful and unflattering bloating like this yummy protein powder from @wmnutrition . Sped up to capture the whole superset and intra stretch. . 4x12 . Spider curls - intra stretch - dropset w/ incline bicep curls - last set till failure. . Prepare to have your arms destroyed 🙌🏻 woot woot! . I usually stretch for 25-30 seconds but for the sake of the video I cut it down to 15. I allow the dumbbells to really pull and stretch my biceps. Intra stretching really destroys strength and shouldn’t be done every day because of the amount of recovery it needs, but if you are experiencing a lagging body part it’s a great way to switch up the execution and help things move forward. . Happy Friday guys. My shoot is scheduled for the 30th. Woot woot! Which means this diet of mine is coming to a close here soon. I’m excited to start the reverse process and fuel my body now for more muscle building. Woot woot. My recent DEXA showed I was very fortunate to continue building a bit during this cut. Typically it’s not prime time and it’s important to take time to recover and take a step back from building, the body can’t always be in building mode. Cuts are a great way to build insulin sensitivity so you’re primed better for a build. My plans are to stay lean during the reverse and to walk you guys step by step through me reversing myself. I’ll show you how to properly track a reverse, different options and why i decided to choose the ones i do for myself, etc., I’m excited to step back from cardio every day. Just to do lifting 6x a week with a mix of hiit and Just being active with my girls. I’m excited to go back to he lifestyle I love. This cut has been 2 months of being intense. Sometimes we have to do that to hit our goals, especially if we’ve put a time on them. I have some clients that are more than happy taking their time and keeping a good lifestyle the whole time. They set their expectations right and now it will take them a bit longer and they are okay with that. The truth is a cut isn’t where the lifestyle is found. It’s in the reverse and maintenance. Cuts (diets) require a ton of growing pains as we establish new habits. But the true lifestyle is found in the reverse and maintenance period.

What size are your bones? I have always had people in my life comment on my tiny wrists. I am what my doctor calls, “a small boned female caucasian”. My small skeletal frame puts me at risk of osteoporosis in my lifetime. What is the best activity you can do to build up and strengthen your bones? Yep, you guessed it... strength and resistance training. The health of your bones are just as important as the strength of your muscles. . Secondly, your genetics determine your natural body type. I am genetically very small and thin. It is hard for me to gain mass or muscle. Alternatively, there are women in the gym that are naturally muscular and develop size easily. Your size of bones can play a factor in how big or small you appear. . So, when settings your goals on a certain aesthetic, take into account how your body, both bones and muscles, are genetically programmed. Regardless of whether you are big boned or bony, you can work into the body type you desire. But, sometimes it is just that, hard work. #bigbones #smallbones #healthybones
