How did I lose 45Ibs, gain muscle, and maintain my weight? As a lot of people lose weight and gain it back... I've never been embarrassed about talking about my weight loss and how I got to where I am today. I played competitive sports my whole life but was always a bit over weight and decided to make a change in my life👼 1. I changed my relationship with food, I was a HUGE binge eater, I would find myself emotional eating and would find I used food to cope with stress. I found myself stress eating during assignments, feeling alone or any work related issues. This eating was mindless. I now eat when I'm hungry and understand my body to know when I'm hungry. I eat TOTALLY different from what I used to, all my meals include vegetables, I really enjoy eating well and treat myself once in a while. I'm not on a diet, I ENJOY what I eat and you should never view it as a diet but a healthy lifestyle change. I understand my macros, when I'm hungry and what to eat🍏🍌 2. I found workouts I love doing, I love lifting weights, riding my bike, hiking, or just going for walks, join a class you like. I did research and created a plan that worked well for me. I work out 5-6x a week now🏋️ POWERLIFTING IS BAE, LIFT HEAVY! 3. Results will come if you remain consistent and work hard!! Don't get upset if it takes a while, fitness is a journey and it will take time to lose weight and build muscle💪 4. Cook for yourself. Not only will you save money! You can cook healthy meals and make healthier sweets🥕🥗 5. Have Friends/ get friends to join in that have common goals and push you to work out and understand that you want to eat well. These people will hold you accountable and push you! Join a class to make friends in the field you enjoy🤩 6. RESEARCH workouts and foods. Experience what works well for YOU🍑😍 7. Manage your stress well, working out has allowed me to put any stress into my workouts and have friends that allow you to talk about your concerns💖
