My main ingredients are almonds (or cashews), dates, chia seeds, and flax seeds. I’ll sometimes add turmeric or a cacao nibs to mix things up. Nuts are a great snack to add into your diet. Yes they are high in calories and fat so don’t over do it. Nuts provide energy and their protein and fiber contents make them satisfying! I have decided three areas in my life need to change I have had a lot of time to reflect over this past 12 months and to revaluate my values. Recent studies have shown that prolonged exposure to the blue violet light (400nm-440nm) can contribute to retinal damage and macular degeneration - an irreversible loss of vision.” -Baxter Blue. Not all blue light is bad, naturally occurring blue light in moderation is beneficial to us but artificial blue light is the one that causes the most damage. Artificial blue light disrupts your circadian rhythm and hinders the release of melatonin (melatonin helps you sleep). I know everyone on here scrolls through their phone before bed 🤷🏼‍♀️ This exposure to blue light before bed (which is emitted from your smartphones, laptops and TV’s) tricks your brain to believe it is day time which makes falling asleep harder and you actually don’t sleep as deeply. I decided to try Baxter Blue because I was getting horrible headaches and eye strain from working from my computer 24/7. I’m excited to give these a go! 🙌🏼😍 Thank you guys #EyeWearForTheDigitalAge 👓

It was so easy, had so much flavour and is bursting with nutritious goodness 😋 Only took ten minutes to make 🕺🏽 Recipe below 👇🏼 • Broth 1 splash of soy sauce/tamari 1 tsp fish sauce 1 ½ tsp @urbanforagerorganics veggie stock conentrate or another high quality stock (could also use chicken stock) 1-2 scoops collagen powder (I used @nutraorganics ) 1 small chilli chopped finely 2 cups boiling water • ½ red capsicum, chopped into strips ¼ zucchini, chopped into strips 3 button mushrooms, halved and chopped 1 small shaved carrot (I use a peeler to shave into strips) Handful of frozen peas Vermicelli noodles (optional) Handful coriander (leaves and stems) chopped finely Handful of basil (leaves roughly torn) *You can substitute the veggies, I just used what was left in my fridge, a mix of Asian veggies and shredded cabbage would also work well • Combine broth ingredients, bring to the boil, reduce heat and cook for two mins Add mushrooms, zucchini, capsicum cook for two mins Add carrot, peas, vermicelli noodles and cook for one minute Add the chopped herbs and then remove from heat Serve with fresh herbs and lemon

There are plenty of single people wishing to be married, and married people wishing they were single. Women longing to be mothers and mothers longing to have a break from their children. Whatever stage you’re in has its advantages, so whichever stage you’re in it is totally possible to make the best of. And right now David and i are making the best of being fairly independent and spending the next 9 days hanging out in Bali. I’m planning on making the most of the time hanging out, connecting, and living in real life, and less on technology. So looking forward to the tech break!

Serves: 3-4 INGREDIENTS: 250g Ground beef 1 cup Quinoa 1 1/2 cups water 1 tbs olive oil 1 red onion, chopped 1 clove of garlic, crushed 2 large carrots, chopped 1 small packet Green Beans 1 cup of Peas 1/2 cup Sweet Corn 2 tbs water Black pepper & salt to taste METHOD: Rinse quinoa thoroughly and then drain. Place in a small pot with the 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to a boil and simmer until water is completely absorbed, 12-15 minutes. Set aside (There are instructions at the back of the packet) Heat up 1 tbs of olive oil in a Wok pan on medium heat. Fry ground beef until no red remains. When cooked, it will be a brown colour. Add chopped onions, garlic, carrots, peas, sweet corn, 2 tbs water and black pepper. Lower the hear & fry for a few more minutes. Add in your ready cooked quinoa and mix. Simmer for two mins. Serve. Much of the results I've had in the past year and a half are from my home workouts and meal plans, but I attribute some of my results to this mighty shake as well. And it's NOT just another protein shake, believe me. This is packed with tons of nutrients (other than protein) to keep my body running the way it's meant to. I rarely get sick anymore. My hair and nails grow unbelievably fast. I'm regular and don't suffer with bloating/constipation/digestive issues like I used to. I feel cleaner and healthier just by drinking it every day. I am not one to recommend something unless I know first hand that it's worth recommending, but this stuff is the real deal! Most people are lost when it comes to nutrition and want something easy to make that is also nutritious. This stuff tastes like a milkshake but acts like super multi vitamin and takes 5 min to make. I was a mess. - It all started when I got to college and I wanted to do better. I knew I couldn’t skip class anymore or lay in bed all day. I knew I had to take responsibility for my own outcomes. - So I started with small decisions. Get out of bed. Get to class one day at a time. Do 5 minutes of homework. Do 10 minutes of homework. - It all built upon itself until I became productive. I still use this principle to this day when I’m having trouble motivating myself. Put my phone down. Open up my assignment or project or workout program. Put one exercise in one workout on one day. One step at a time I will get there. - Now I own a business while I’m grad school, while being a juice plus distributor, while working out, eating healthy, running social media, etc. - I can do it all. One step at a time! - What’s one thing you want to achieve?! 👇🏼
