I’ve completed 9 workouts with @stephdorworth and Beautiful to the Core - after finishing up 2 1/2 phases of #BonytoBombshell and putting on 5 lbs since November! . My lifts have gone up already over the past few weeks and when I did measurements this morning - in just two weeks - I’ve gained in my arms, hips, thigh and calf.👊🏻💪🏻 . Excited to keep going and see what we can achieve! . It has been my dream to compete for so long and I feel like now is the time to finally make it a REALITY! . Happy Friday Friends!

HOW TO GET OUT OF A SHITTY STATE by @keara_palmay 😰 • • Getting out of a FUNK is so important. And what’s more we all seem to be hit by them more and more. • • So here is some great advice from my pal @keara_palmay • • We've all been in a shitty state before. It's awesome to feel the polarity of happiness and sadness--because without the polarity, you wouldn't appreciate happiness as much. - However, if you live in a shitty state, your life will suck. Period. - Here are some quick & easy tips to get out of a shitty state... - 1. Journal & meditate. Write it out. What's bothering you? What are you afraid of? What are you angry about? How is the situation making you feel? Get all of your emotions out on paper then meditate and BREATHE. - 2. Call a friend who "gets" you. Vulnerability is your true source of power, so when you can reach out to a trusted friend and TRULY tell them how you're feeling, you will let out your emotions AND receive perspective from someone you look up to. - 3. Move your body! Motion equals emotion, so get out into nature (when possible) and work through your emotions physically. - 4. Do something kind for a stranger. It's so nice to see their face light up when you unexpectedly buy them a cup of coffee or pass them a note that says "you make a difference." It feels good to give. - 5. If nothing else works, simply surrender to your emotions and feel them fully. For example, when I was grieving the loss of my father, I didn't want to get into a better state--I just wanted to grieve... - I would actually look at pictures of my dad & curl up with one of his sweaters to force myself to cry harder. I'd let everything out. I knew if I let my sadness move through me during a short burst of intensity, happiness would come sooner. Her injuries are down, and her training is ⬆️ • • Set backs are handed to us all in training. But it’s how you react, develop and focus after these set backs that will truly be the mark of your success. • • Just because something gets you down....doesn’t mean you have to be at the bottom. • • I like to think of injuries as a sign of my development.
